Returns Policy

Unwanted Items

If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, you may return the unused item in it’s original packaging within 7 days of receipt. A refund for the purchase and applicable taxes will be given, however shipping and handling for the delivery and pick up will not be refunded.

Refunds will be issued in the same method of payment as the original payment. i.e. A purchase made with paypal, a refund will be issued to the original account.

Returns are your responsibility as we do not offer a pre-paid returns service, and so we recommend you send back items via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery or a similar trackable method.

Please advise us at before any dispatched return quoting your order number and the reason why for the return.

The returns form to be included inside your returned package can be downloaded here.

If you wish to return your item, please ensure you fill in the returns form and enclose it with your package in order for us to process your return/refund.

Please note: we do not offer a refund for a Sale Item, only an exchange.



Faulty Items

If the item you received is ever faulty then please contact customer services via the Contact Us page by quoting your order reference number or email .

We will then advise you on how to proceed with the return. You will have 10 days from receipt to return the item.

Delivery charges will be refundable if you have received a faulty or incorrect item.


Can I exchange my item ?

If you wish to exchange an item, you have to return the item within 7 days of receipt and make a new purchase online.

Once we receive your returned package, a refund for your exchanged item will be issued to your account immediately.

You will need to cover the shipping costs for your return package and we are only able to do an exchange for the same product in a different size or colour.

Please note: We do not exchange women’s one size leggings as these garments are only available in one size and are clearly stated inside product the description.

We offer free delivery on the replacement item and will issue a coupon voucher for the amount to your British Leggings user account. This free delivery coupon voucher code will be sent to your email once we have received your returned package. We offer one free exchange for every item.

All exchanges are subject to stock availability and any item returned must be unworn, with all tags attached and inside the original packaging.

If you need to do an exchange, please fill in the returns form and please indicate the return type = exchange and advise us on the exchanged item. Please enclose this document (returns form) inside your parcel. will then correspond the order details for your returned package with your new online order. can take up to 1-2 days to process an exchange plus the delivery time.


When will I receive my refund and how ?

Once the return has been approved (the item/s have to be in perfect condition, unused and any internal labels must be intact) you will receive a confirmation email indicating that the refund will be paid into your account within 48 hours. Remember that payments to your credit card always depend on your bank/building society. You will receive your refund via the same means used to make your purchase.


How long do I have to return ?

7 days from receipt for unwanted or exchanged items and 10 days from receipt for faulty items.


Return Order Condition

The merchandise returned or exchanged must be unworn, with all original tags attached, and in its original packaging. Return items with any sign of being worn are classified as unacceptable and will not be refunded. reserves the right to reject returns sent or communicated beyond the return period limit, or items which are not in the same condition in which they were received.


SALE Items

If the item is a SALE item, the refund will be granted as a credit coupon or alternatively it can be returned for an exchange.


For any type of return please ensure you download and fill in the returns form from the main page and attach the document inside your package.


Note: We use the term ‘item’ instead of ‘product’ for returns. It’s easy to explain the difference between an item and a product.  For example, supposed you purchased two different sizes of the same jacket for one order. Item X (size M) and item Y (size L). When they arrive you can identify which is X and which is Y only by their attributes in size, even though these items are of the same product.
